KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 26, 2013 — French beauty retailer SEPHORA threw a party to be remembered at its newly opened maiden store in Gurney Paragon Mall today.
Since its store opening on 23 July 2013, SEPHORA has made a mark as THE place ‘Where Beauty Beats’ and brings an unparalleled collection of prestigious products from Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome as well as from edgier brands like Bare Minerals, Benefit, Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay alongside its own Sephora Private Label.
Afif Haddar – SEPHORA General Manager for Singapore & Malaysia, hosted the party to celebrate the brand’s first store in Penang. The event was open to the public and graced by over 300 beauty enthusiasts. Amongst invited guests were Dato’ Daisy Ooi, the Group Managing Director of Hunza Group and members of the media.
Team SEPHORA kicked off the evening with a dance routine, rehearsed specially for the guests. Those who attended were treated to light refreshments, prize/gift giveaways, beauty treats in nail, lip and lashes and attractive storewide promotions. Guests were left ecstatic for more excitement!
Electronica band, The Empress had lead singer Sharon Chong dressed in tune to the popular hits she delivered from the 1980s whilst the Avant Garde Make-up Show curated by Jo Disaya T. featured 12 models in eclectic make-up creations.
