Celebrating the Spirit of Sportsmanship at the In-between Arts Festival 1-3 December 2014

Penang, 22 September 2014 – The In-between Arts Festival (IbAF) presents everything in-between words and music and will be held from 1-3 December 2014, literally in-between the George Town Literary Festival (28 – 30 November 2014) and the Penang Island Jazz Festival (4-7 December 2014).

The theme for this year embodies the Spirit of Sportsmanship, and aims to connect sports to the arts. Presented by Penang Global Tourism, the festival is a platform for artistic expression. The three-day festival is conceptualised and organised by creative marketing services company, Go International Group.

IbAF aims to connect people from around the region to experience and explore Penang. It’s truly a festival for Penangites, as much as it is for visitors from near or far. This year, the festival focus is on bringing sports and arts together via a series of outdoor activities held at the beautifully manicured Penang Botanic Gardens, the Official Venue Sponsor.

Visitors to the gardens during the festival can participate in the activities namely Badminton Flash Mob, Drive-in Movies and Bicycle Fun Ride against a kaleidoscope of vibrant Artistic Expressions at the Gardens (comprising of poetry, music performances and dance). As a finale, The In-between Arts Festival Music at the Gardens features musical performances by international award-winning songstress Bihzhu, fun rock band The Rubberbands and more!

Don your sports gear, put on your artistic cap and come over to the Penang Botanic Gardens between 5.00pm – 8.00pm from 1 -3 December for an amalgamation of artistic and sport activities at this third installation of the In-between Arts Festival!
